据悉，该标准由广东省洗染行业协会、广东酒店行业协会、广州市洗衣洗涤行业协会、广东天天洗衣洗涤实业有限公司提出并起草，对商业布草洗涤企业的成品质量、生产流程、加工工艺、厂房结构与环境等都提出了具体要求。标准规定，洗涤企业不得使用强酸、强碱等对人体有害的原料清洗布草；不同用途的布草必须区分洗涤；企业应有对产品卫生质量的自检和定期送检制度；在卫生要求方面，还规定现场抽样检验的每平方厘米成品中含有的细菌菌落数应少于200，不得检出大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌等。 近年来，消费者投诉酒店床单、毛巾等布草卫生问题的情况时有发生，但由于没有规范的商业布草洗涤标准，所以酒店、餐饮等服务性企业在选择布草洗涤企业时难以判断优劣，消费者在维权时更是无据可依。广州市洗衣洗涤行业协会秘书长江世平说，对从事商业布草洗涤的企业提出必要的资质要求，一方面是依据标准对行业进行监督，从源头上规范商业布草洗涤行业；另一方面，消费者在酒店、餐馆等遇到毛巾等布草的卫生问题，也可以依据标准来维权。
